i prefer to hold it by myself. men should be respected as a guardian, not servant. i let my bf to carry heavier stuffs like groceries items etc.

i wouldn't let my bf hold my purse unless i absolutely had to....like if i was looking for something or didn't want to take it in the bathroom with me...and actually even then i'd probably just tell him to watch it but not hold it lol. ew.

oh debate-table la woman! You see, I got kid and my handbag contain not only woman stuff but also my kid's stuffs and sometime his..so sometimes before started doing anything, my shoulder already sore la....
But if I am carrying hand carried type of bag, then..is a no no for man.

it's not a trend but a matter of willingness. actually these men are willing to be exploited by their partners. they would carry anythng for their girlfriends.

I used to have a strict policy to never do it, but with my current girlfriend who I've bee with for several years, I don't really have to have game anymore, so it's no big deal, depending on the situation. She knows better to ask unless it's really important, like if something is on fire.
