japan is more modernised, upmarket, environmentally concerned (people ride around on bikes whereas in korea there is lots of traffic) and much more expensive; however if you are rich anyway then that part shouldn't bother you.
korea is more 'asian', traditional and much cheaper. i actually prefer korea because you are properly immersed in its culture. also it's very safe and the people are fantastic- great fun to go out drinking with!
the girls in korea are probably a bit more conservative than the japanese, more shy and more 'girly'. but definitely cute!! |

Why not go to both? They are very close to each other and you certainly have the financial resources to do so. Spend some time in both countries before deciding which one to stay in longer.
I saw your other question about Korean women. I don't blame you. Many consider Korean women the most beautiful in all of Asia. The average Korean woman is usually very, very pretty. But really, picking a country just because of how beautiful the women are is a bad idea.
I have American friends who love South Korea because the country itself is pretty too. However, Japan does seem to attract more people who stay longer. |

Most would choose Jap because its more hip. They've anime, nice girls and Tokyo City. They make the best cars, games and just about anything! Who wouldn't want to be a part of japan.
