I dont eat Adobo, I dont speak Tagalog, none of my parents are or were Filipinos and I dont have brown skin. Nor do I hold a Filipino passport.
But my Filipino friends here consider me a Filipino and so does my girlfriend, a gorgeous Pinay.
Cheers !!!
*** To reply the second part of the question: No, it doesnt make me anything special. But she's such a gorgeous & fantastic person...I CANT STOP BOASTING ABOUT HER !!!
Have a good day. |

It's not all about adobo or whatever food we have in here. It's not about our color or our language. It's all about the love we have for this country ad that makes us Filipinos. |

i don't think so because you can be a half filipino and you eat adobo, but you are white and you speak tagalog. I met someone like the one i am saying. I met an african guy that can speak tagalog and knows all the philippine culture. |

you perfectly know that those things are NOT the bases of being a Filipino. you should know that kuya. |

You are filipino if your Parents are filipino. |

Well Sir you can be considered Filipino if you relinquesh your citizenship and apply for a Filipino citizenship. Mere eating adobo, having brown skin, and speaking Tagalog are not processes of becoming a Filipino. |

Is this supposed to be a philosophical question? You're Filipino if you were born in the Philippines and if one or both your parents are Filipino. |

I am a citizen of Heaven!
This world is not my home I'm just passing threw. Does it matter what color I am or what it says on my Pass Port?
Does it matter if I speak Cebuano and/or English?
Does it matter if I am 2 m and 90 K?
or
Does it matter if I am 6'3" 350 lbs?
Does it matter where I live or what nationality my wife is?
I think not...You are what you choose to be.
What ever you think I will pray for you and your "friends"
God Bless You. |

Don't you have a common sense? If you do then make it work. Good luck. <*-*> |

You can tell if a person is a true Filipino if he/she has an uncle named "Tito Boy". It is Philippine law that every Filipino family must have at least one member with the nickname "Boy". |

"I live, therefore I am." - René Descartes
Certainly, the Filipinos consider me as their own. They are even pleased at my fluency of the language, desire to sleep on a banig (handwoven mat) and ride the public transit. Would like to wear the baro't saya (handwoven blouse and long skirt) but it is not practical when using the public transit as the steps are so high. |
