not loose HOPE in the desert because every filipino who has no food, no water, no money will survive because they have their cellphone with load to call or text their family or friend for help, remember filipino mentality they don't care if they have nothing as long as they have the latest cellphone and loads for their phone that's where they spent their money instead of using the money to what is more important like food. so no food, no water, no money but have latest cellphone then their happy and they survive.

Hope to hell I paid my cell phone bill and the reception is good out there.

If not....I'll wander, eat sand crabs, hallucinate for awhile and call it a day.

You could last for maybe 2-3 days and I'm sure by enough walking you would atleast find water or even help.

well, if I didnt have to worry about tactics (war), I would dig a hole in the ground to get to cooler sand. Beware of snakes and scorpions. I would travel at night to avoid dehydrating as fast. I would look for any vegitation in the mornings that may have collected dew of any kind and drink it. If not that, there is always eating animals you catch. meat=blood=fluids. I would walk with the animals as they usually know whats going on. I wouldnt get naked. My skin would be black within an hour and the benifet even at night wouldnt be enough... assuming im in thin shirt and pants. Did I mention praying?

Trap in the desert?
Don't go anywhere unless one is sure where to go and
travel by night when night is clear. Wait for rescuers.
dig a hole 2 feet deep at least like laying a coffin in it and perpendicular to the sun's movement, it's cooler down there by several degrees and you may live longer
move slowly so as not to perspire much.
gather stones,or make marks that would be visible from the sky in a certain position i can not disclose here.
gather materials that can be burned to make smoke signals when you hear sounds of aircraft of other rescuers in a certain position too.
cover your head for protection against the sun and wind as the arab do, called arab headdress.Do not be tempted not to wear clothings to feel cooler as water evaporation from your body would be critical.Also have dark thin cover for your eyes as sunglass,if you are to look outside your digs.
you said no food, no water, but when you have sodas,(softdrink) wine(or other alcoholic drinks),or urine, don't drink it, it is short cut to death.
do not smoke or breath thru your mouth
observe the flights of birds or animal movements at dawn and dusks, they may direct you to water sources.
some desert vegetation can provide moisture and thus drinks,food, but do not try those with milky saps if you are not familiar with that specie.
don't forget to give thanks to the Lord for the life you had, and accept his will, but do not lose hope and the will to survive.
lastly, don't let your relatives know you're lost in the desert if you are insured.They might pray that you be killed and claim the insurance. LOL!

I will try hunting small animals for food while walking towards one direction. If i fall down and can't get up because of being too weak to do so, I'll pray for a miracle.

if not, then dont' worry about it, if so, u have internet, email someone who cares

If your middle in Sahara, i recommend you to go North, its shorter and in a coastal area you would able to find civition where able to find water and food.

If you find some plants, under the sand have a plenty amount of water... Some Cactus can be eaten...

i'd carve the largest letters ever printed in a dessert saying "HELP ME!!!"
