well we have the twin towers and the kl tower..
really depends on wht ur looking for
currently its the hlf year sale here so it is actually realllyyy crazzyy
i do love it here because of the diff type of ppl u get here and the local food can get prettyy amazing..
butt since its summer the haze this year is pretty bad due to forest burns in indonesia
if u cant decide between singapore and Malaysia why not fly to one country and take a road trip to the other? its abouttt 4-5 hours (by car not bus) from singapore to Kuala Lumpur (capital of msia.)
but there really isnt much diff except tht u could say that singapore is more "westernized" version of msia? >.<
cheers! |

they're both not different. it depends wat you wanna do there. if you wanna go shopping, i suggest Singapore as it's a small country with plenty of shopping malls. it's better technology n more modern than Malasia, but if you really wanna travel, rest your mind or wanna learn about cultures Malasia is a better place. well, it's not easy to choose. like i said, depends on your purpose. oh, stuff in malasia is cheaper thou. |

I'am from Malaysia. Malaysia is a peaceful country free from natural disaster. Singapore was formally a one of a Malaysian State until she was independence in 1963. If you want to travel to the island of paradise try Borneo Island and see for yourself all the frendly people and a diverse culture and thick tropical jungle about the size of England. |

In Malaysia, there are lots of Malays. And they are very pretty!
They also have Chinese. their chinese girls are prettier than the Singaporean chinese.
Malaysia is cheaper than Singapore. I guess it is better than Singapore where Singaporeans are very arrogant and self-centred people. Just go around the Chinatown and all the people are so pathetic! |

Definitely more colourful than Spore. Spore may be modern state, but in Malaysia, we have everything, modern city, rural town, nice beach, cool mountain, tropical forest, best island. Most of all, food here is much much more yummy and delicious!!!! |

you would be spoilled for choice over here, whatever you wanted in a holiday you can almost found it here in Malaysia, Great bargain shopping, delicious food[local/western], colorful multiculture, virgin rain forest, cool mountain retreat, long stretch of white sandy beaches, beautiful islands n wonderful marine life, layback village/country side, friendly people, sunshine almost all year round, etc etc......n best of all that you can't find what i mention in Singapore ! |

Firstly, thanks for your interest in Malaysia!!
Singapore and Malaysia share a similar weather as we are both near the Equator.
We cant compare these two countries as better or not, it would be biased.
Singapore is much more developed country compared to Malaysia hence better mass transit, shopping malls, sky scrappers, education and much more. with all that development and lack of space, Singapore will be like any other big cities round the world.
Malaysia is different because it is still developing, this will enable you to see a mixture of developed cities, rural towns/villages, plantations, virgin forest/jungles and beautiful islands. All this are mixed up with a rich heritage from all our ethnic groups, from Malays, Chinese and Indians with influences from a lot of other countries which have been here before like the English, Portuguese and so on.
If you come from a city, why not take time and explore Malaysia, you will find it fully different from other countries, as Our Malaysian Tourism Board slogan says, "Malaysia, Truly Asia!" |

Malaysia is better because so many immigrants wants to setttle down here.
Rich in cultures, greenery, fast growth industry, shopping mall, leasure places, annually event (moto and car GP) but the people is always smiling. |

Actually you only can get the answer if you had travel both of that places.Of course both country have their speciality. For me,Malaysia has multicultural races and they can live together harmonily. It also has many interesting places depend what type of place you want to visit. It has forest, tall building such as KLCC,beach etc which they are different from another country. On the other hand,Singapore has modern buildings and better in technologies.I'm a malaysian and i would like to invite u come to malaysia.Nice to meet u |

I agree with MikeO above.
Thailand to the north and Singapore to the south does it best when it comes to tourism and hospitality. Malaysia is mediocre at best especially in terms of man-made tourist attractions.
The only thing that's truly a different and unique experience are the jungle adventures (eco-tourism) in Taman Negara (National Park) in Pahang and Mulu Caves, Sabah (East Malaysia). Aside from this nearly everything else is second-rate. |

I'm a M'sian. Naturally, my answer would be for you to pick our country over S'pore☺but of course, that would mean that I'm just plain biased=P
I believe you'd find/ pick your answers from the people here already, so there's really no need for me to elaborate except it's entirely up to you.
What is it that you truly seek? If it's shopping and you're more of an urban girl, then S'pore is the destination for you.
However, M'sia offers that as well and so much more. Plus it's relatively cheaper here... heck we're in the midst of our nation wide sale at the moment!
Whichever you choose, just be sure to be safe, and... oh yeah, have fun! |

The only reason anyone would want to come to Malaysia is if:
1. They're here on business.
2. They can't afford to go on vacation anywhere else, or are forced to come here for whatever reason.
There's nothing you can do or get in Malaysia that isn't done better somewhere else. Don't let the patriots fool you! |
