Yes it is, warm and humid. Depending on which areas you are talking about, some rural areas have slightly cooler weather, but on average it is about 25 to 35 degree Celcius in daytime. It is usually cooler at night everywhere in Malaysia.

You're either be wet because of sweating or you're wet because its raining a lot.

rilek
Tropical without extremely high temperatures. Days are very warm, while nights are fairly cool. The main rainy season in the east runs between November and February, while August is the wettest period on the west coast. East Malaysia has heavy rains (November to February) in Sabah and in Sarawak. However, it is difficult to generalize about the country’s climate, as rainfall differs on the east and west coasts according to the prevailing monsoon winds (northeast or southwest). Average daytime temperatures in Kuala Lumpur are around 27°C (82°F) year round.

Required Clothing
Lightweight clothes are worn throughout the year

p/s:- just for your info, this info is so true cause i've been living in malaysia for almost 19 years now....:)

Lil Brownie
Let's just say the weather is affected by the North-East Monsun (May-September) and the South-West (November - March). April and October are Inter-monsun months. That's when heavy rains occur.
And of course, there's 2500-3000 rainfall every year (on average of everywhere), cloudy skies, hot sun, humid weather, sea breeze, land breeze, and height (mountains).
Temperature is about 31'c (until 35'c in cities) in the day, and 25'c at night.
It's VERY humid, so you can't feel the difference.
Air is 80-90% full of water vapour.

So if you want the general description of Kuala Lumpur?
It's hot, shopping 24/7, dusty, old, traffic jam 24/7, humid, full of car exhaust gases, dirty (some streets)...
There's more to describe. But it's one of the historic places.

Malaysia has dry and raining seasons. During the raining season the tempurature is lower if it is raining. Other then that it is hot.

::BlackBerryLicious::
The country is generally warm throughout the year with temperatures ranging from 21° to 32° Celsius in the lowlands. This can however be as low as 16° Celsius in the highlands. Annual rainfall is heavy at 2,500mm (100 inches). On a rainy day, thunder and lightning often accompany the heavy downpour which normally lasts for about an hour or two. The high humidity level at 80% throughout the year favours light and sweat-absorbent material like cotton for daily dressing.

Generally, Malaysia has two distinct seasons. The dry season occurs during the south-west monsoon from May and September. The northeast monsoon brings the rainy season to the country during mid-November till March.
