Back in 1953, the M'sian govt. especially from the ruler of Johore sultanate did not claim the ownership from S'pore and that's how it ended belonging to S'pore.

Anyway, now that Middle Rocks belong to M'sian, fishermen can go fishing on the rock!

This is not just about the stupid lighthouse, Malaysia's shore is at risk and whenever our kapal want to go any closer we have to ask their permission just like when we need their permission to fly over our southern skies.

Singapore is encroaching on our sovereignty bit by bit and we just stood there helpless. This is not a disappointment to Johorean only but to all Malaysians who have to witness Singapore's greed and power over the South East region.

I just hope Malaysia can do good for Middle Rock and lets pray that South Ledge (which is yet to be determined) falls into our hands otherwise lagi besar kepala Singapore.

The present land owners & children have to GET OUTTA THERE, sell outright their lands & settle down to the non-prosperous outskirt areas!

The case is closed already after many decades of quibbling. It will not be worth debating over it really, because nothing can change the situation. A rock is not to be envied as an island. The two nations can still continue to do lucrative business with each other. We must not be a slave to the past but must move on to greater things from now on.If most of the politicians are happy to accept the ICJ decision, then there will be a lot of promise for improved relations.

Ohhh come on. Say it as you really mean it. This friggin foreigners came over on the boat, took over the island and now are an economic power and trying to take over our God given rocks in the sea.

I say, lets take the kris out, polish it (its been sitting in the dark for a long time, might be rusty) and lets skewer this little immigrants and then we can take back those God given rocks and possibly (after we cut their water), take back that island.

And we put someone by the name of Ali or Baba as the next MB on the island.

There we go, a little honesty puts everything into perspective.
