What is "first move" ?

• Look first...
• Wink first...
Very often, if a boy talk first to a girl (first move?), it usually is a response to some "come on" body language from the girl, including the clothes she wear, perfume, way of walking... - so in this case, the girl is actually making the first move...unconsciously.
Same case if a girl make a first move- it may not be so....
So, whether you like it or not, just be glad that a potential relationship is beginning... |

But I'd create chances for him to do so.
Or ask his help for something, like accompany me to buy some stuff, pretending i need his suggestion..
Drop heavy hints, like eye contact, hold for awhile & smile.

There is nothing wrong with girls making the first move. Malaysia is an equal gender society and it promotes it. With equal status comes equal responsibility and non-discriminatory social etiquettes. It does not fall solely on the guy.
Besides a typical Malaysian girl will take every opportunity to make the first move, if the guy is white american. Without thinking, they will treat you will a slave, and yet girls still make the first move on white guys. Anything wrong with Malaysian guys? Are we 2nd rated to you? |

Because they are afraid to be rejected. Plain and simple. They feel that with rejection that they will never be able to make a girl fall in love with them. Or its the end of the world for them. That's how they think will feel.
As for guys 1st or girls 1st...if you don't have the courage to say it...Then you have no courage to go through life with a girl. Especially when the girl have been dropping hints and ask you buddies for help in getting together.
Those seem to be the 1st several hundreds of moves already. |

I made my first move when I attracted to my hubby.
My reason of doing that was because
I am very selective
in terms of looking for my future husband
and father of my childrens.
I only attracted to smart, intelligent (4.0 CGPA), and other good criteria to make sure I get the best.
So, it is not something wrong for ladies to approach men first.
If you want your children get a good genetic, intelligent brain, good looks and have a father as a great role model, it is depends on the you to choose.
It is not necessarily you will get what you expected,
but at least you try to get the best. |
