I go to Tesco Mutiara Damansara or Tesco Kajang... sometimes Giant at One Utama...

But on Sundays, i go to Pasar Malam with my mum to get fish, chicken, beef, and see the disgusting discoloured fake imitation Billabong t-shirts.

Say what?

Just like Sarah, i did my groceries at different places. When i want fresh fish, chicken and vegetables, pasar malam carries more variety.
Everything else, i would get them from the supermarket in my area. I hate huge hypermarket because the food items aren't fresh and almost feel like i have to walk a mile to get from one section to another.

biker_gal
i enjoy going to both

Both. You can get cheap stuff at pasar malam but no AC!

Pasar malam! I’ll munch while walking around pasar malam. Blend of smelly fresh fish, beef, mutton gives extra umphhhh to the surrounding.

D.Connolly
not malaysian but i shop at supermarket only my mom goes to the wet market

I prefer supermarket because I can pay using my credit card and can earn points at the same time ... ;-)

drjenlee
we normally prefer hypermarket like giant n carrefour cos there are more reasonably priced than supermarket like tops n cold storage. and no fish smell... :)

Crystal Haylie
the stuff in pasar malam is fresher i think... i'm guessing that's why my parents make those annoying trips there almost every weekends, dragging me along so I can carry the stuff for them too...

Personally, I prefer Supermarkets... they're cleaner and has air condition and well, not all dirty and fishy smell... eugh...

This question is so stupid. But hey, just give me the 10 points.

Pasar Malam AND the supermarket!! depends on what i want to buy.. even for rm10, you could get really nice clothes!! i usually buy my "tou-fu-fa" there..!! yummy!! but i won't buy pirated cd's there.. so, i'd go to the supermarket.. ANTI-PIRACY!!!
