Singapore will do all it possible can to find him. If you notice what Home Affairs minister Wong said (to the effect): If all done and he cannot be found, we will look for alternative ways to locate him ......

If all conventional ways to locate him fail, maybe Singapore will go into alternative ways such as Satellite images, tapping on telephones lines of all related to him and probably to follow and keep close surveillance of all his known relatives. Also, scanning all internet traffic in and out of Singapore for possible reference to the man that might lead to his whereabouts.

With all the hype and burning questions on Mas Selamat, naturally when its already been quite a while now, ppl would think he might have fleed across the country or hiding in densely forested areas. but think about it, given the tight layers of security, guards, etc etc..How did he managed to bypass through it all? PERHAPS, all along, hes still in somewhere in the prison facilities, waiting for a lull in search? deception? hahaha...

i dont think he's in singapore anymore.
he is clever enough to escape from a prison with such tight security, so why will he be so stupid and do things halfway by staying in singapore? its obvious that the police will search for him once they realised that he's escaped. he could've escaped within the first few hours, before we even know about it. people are wasting their time and resources searching for him day and night, printing so many posters and sending smses to people.
oh and no offence :x but if he is still in singapore, could he be hiding in a mosque? or maybe in someones house.

My personal opinion is that he has left the country within the first 4 hours after his escape. Singapore is too small and I believe he has counter parts who helped him planned this escape.

Let's not discuss about religion and black magic here cos it will hurt some...

I think he is quite resourceful.I dont think. so he can live so long.He did not take anything with him when he escape.As he is trained ,he can know how to survive.I think he is hiding in a place dense.If I were him I would hide under the drain in a dense area.My opinion is that he is in another country.He knows that people in Singapore know him.He will have to be careful not to be caught.God bless him in whatever he does,but the arms of the law is long.

in my opinion, i think there's some spy in the detention centre who help him escape,otherwise how could he just escape so easily? i guess he went out of singapore within the first 4 hours but the government is trying to cover-up this matter and only report it after 4 hours,my guess is he might be in pulau ubin

Actually I was still waiting for the auhority to publish whether he had planned his escape, or just escape by chance. For a terrorist leader, if he was to plan for an escape, certainly the plan won't be stop only getting out of the detention centre. He should have already planned the route out of Singapore immediately after he escaped from the detention centre and not wait for 4 hours. As a normal person will know, it's more difficult to leave Singapore after a few hours.

In short, if he had planned this escape for quite sometime, then, most likely he is already at other countries, such as Indonesia or Malaysia.

While the news of Mas Selamat escaped from Whitley Road Detention Centre spread across the world and all government agencies beefed up the securities in the country and likely all area in Singapore will be combed, one place that they will not think of is the Whitley Road Detention Centre itself. Why I said this .... but this is just my humble opinion and may not be true. You have every rights to judge.

How possible can he escaped from that detention centre? For all you know, that place is highly secured. High fence with barb wires equipped with high voltage. How can he escaped through the toilet? Any traces of footprint at the window (if any) of that toilet? Where are all the surveilence cameras ( at lease to show last possible image or movement before he left the detention centre?

Even after his escaped, he is limping and the so-called a witness saw him climbing the stairs leading to some chinese cemetery area. Was there really a witness?

Look, with all the high end technologies for securities that the Dentention centre has, it is almost or not possible for Mas Selamat to escaped.

I am in the opinion that Mas Selamat did not escape but it's more of an "insider" job and still in the detention centre ..... dead. Mas Selamat might had been a nuisance to some or all the ISD officials. He might have been tortured. One thing led to another and his body was placed in a "safe place". The officer(s) involved might had arranged the body to be transported out of the detention centre using ISD's van(who in ISD will check this van?). Therefor, ISD broke the news that Mas Selamat escaped from the detention centre and now the manhunt is on so that everyone thought will be focused that Mas Selamat "had escaped" and make all speculations but not when he is now dead.

Even the media are not allowed to interview his family members. Why? Why? Why? Media cannot even know how he escaped. Where are all the logics that Mas Selamat had really escaped???

People blamed the Police Force?? What has the police got to do at the first place?? Singapore Police Force report to the comissioner of police. ISD personnels are also police officer but they report directly to PM's office. ISD overules SPF in whatever action regarding their work. SPF is nothing to them. Do you know this? So, your fingers should be pointing at the ISD rather than other governing bodies. Do you ever wonder why the commissioner of police did not make any press statement? Now you can think right:)

With all the above findings, I'm in the opinion that Mas Selamat might had been dead. His body may still be at the detention centre or already transported out and dumped somewhere. All manhunt operations are done so that this can defray the thoughts of everyone that Mas Selamat had really escaped.

okay... From The Day He escaped here is my point of view:

How did he escape?
Is The Escort Deliberatly allow him to escape?
when he escaped he was on his way to meet his family, did his family planned it?

Then i haf in mind five place he might do harm to.

1st Isatana-President S.R. Nathan
2nd NUS-Youth Olympic
3rd Mediacorp-Cut Off All Media access from other country
4th DBS Building-Finance Purposes
5th Terminal 3-New Terminal Would cause a lot of loss to the country's finance

then after someone saw him near bukit timah, my 2nd pointed place NUS, he might be targeting the hostel.

I believe he is still in singapore.
He had to find some sort of communication n NUS is a University, In Order To contact other country's lecturer,
they have to had communication. but why not other places?
the best answer to it coud be distance. about his escape i dun believe he used black magic. I believe he used some thing else. My 6th sense tells me that something to do with water....

Dude Mas Selamat is already in Indonesia. I'll bet he's plotting the next bombing. Most prolly where the youth Olympic would be held, so Singapore can be known as a very safe country. Just keep away from crowded areas if they still cannot get him after a few months.

Hmm...it would be quite challenging for him to keep hiding in nature, the police are combing the forest to find for him, but no sign of him. Probably he has obtained help from someone he knows and is probably hiding in his accomplice's place

Espescially after he escaped, the police have beefed up on the security.

What i'm confused about is why did the police wait for 4 hours then tell us that he has escaped?

i think his not in singapore now. in indonesia,thailand maybe coz how did he climb out of the jail without any gate opened so i think mas selamat has some black magic power so he can so to indonesia without using any passport

he could have easily swam to malaysia. or that island( i forgot its name) cos when we were camping we were told that when it was low tide in the morning, that island is only a 5metres swim away from singapore.

Internal Security Department(ISD) and The Singapore Police Force(SPF) are of two different department, The Prison Service is another department. Mas Selamat was detained in ISD detention centre before his escape. So what have the Police got to do with his escape? Get the picture...? The ISD is making the mess and the SPF is trying to clear it up, and by trying to clear mess make by others, SPF reputations get stained by the big empty vessels. Mas Selamat could still be in Singapore... waiting for the right time to make his escape, when all attention on him subside.

Obviously we muslims, thinks that this is completely rediculuos. They probably think that by this way they could go to heaven which actually not what muslim believes is all about. And pardon me, don't question god. God obviously doesnt encourage wrongdoings, of course he's not helping.
