If you haven't already figured it out, you should dial 011-66-2-5741588 or *66-2-5741588. 011 is the international dialing code for Thailand, 66 is the country code for Thailand and 2 is the city code for Bangkok followed by your dad's phone number. Good luck, the number is a Bangkok land line.

Just dial your country IDD code before these numbers. Eg 0011 or 001 or any other IDD code from mobile operators.

66 is the country code. 2 is the area code and 5741588 is the local land line number to your Dad.

If you want a quick answer, drive to a Thai restaurant and talk to a Thai person, then ask him how. There should be a few numbers before that. It is called a country code.

I think this is a mobile number because there are too many numbers for it to be a land line. Not so long ago all mobiles in Thailand had an 8 added to the begining of the number so try..........
