I don't usually make a promise unless I can stand for it. The only promise I gave that until now have not been broken is my marriage vow to my young and beautiful wife.

I usually make only the promises i can keep. And for those I inadvertently break, I try to come out with a convenient excuse.

Yes, guilty on that - making promises to a pestering boy, my little one. When I eventually break a haphazardly given promise, I will try to make-up somehow - promise something else, give something else. Usually, I end up the loser...money-wise that is.

the fact is...i dont like fake hopes and promises.[because im not a politician-who lies almost every time they talk]
but if i have to break my promise...that will be something out of my control.

i will try my best not to make promise to anyone because i hate it when i break my promise...but i do broke some of my promises and i regret it so much...~~

Only if she is my 3 years old niece .., or my cute 4 years old nephew ... if older than that, I better don't simply make promises as they have good memory and will PESTER me till my underwear drops ...

Bottom line is, I try not to make promises that I cannot fulfilled ... cuz I don't like to be promised something but later tidak jadi ... in circumstances like that, better get the other party to compromise instead ... like if an insurance agent keep on wanting to see me, I will tell him I am busy and will call him when I am free (instead of saying he can come on this and that day, and when he comes to see me, I tell him I am busy) ...
