it is easy to give a good and sensual answer, but sometimes it is the question who triggers answerer to give non-sense and insulting answer. I think, we also need to ask people from this site to cease asking stupid questions. like I'm looking for ... carpio. etc.

I feel that your question/statement deserves a star and have therefore given you one.
We are supposed to be adults why not take the first step and bury the hatchet (I mean that literally) and call a truce for at least a couple of days. There is no need for either party to attack below the belt just because one doesn't agree with an answer.

WHAT IF EVERYBODY SHOWS THEIR DISPLEASURE WITH WHAT IS GOING ON BY GIVING THIS QUESTION A STAR. This may not change anything but at least all the antagonists just might get the message.

Thanks John. I spent 1 marvellous week in Boracay-I highly recommend Boracay both to Filipinos and foreigners. It's a great place to unwind. The other 3 weeks were spent in Manila.

I agree with you. Y!A was created to enlighten and educate people about a myriad of topics, not to lambaste others' personalities and insights. However, askers must also be sensitive about not being prejudice in their questions, and be careful to not provoke any group or individual. Honest opinions are always welcome, as long as they are based on the truth, and not merely personal biases.
I'm all for having a clean slate again - please stop with the word war already!

you're right Dianne,I use to contribute in yahoo!answers everyday but when I read something negative and attacts to others and those who post their answers just for the heck...there are people here in yahoo!answer that need and want some sensible answers and are serious contributors,and maybe this is somewhat their theraphy for a full days work...it's kind of depressing and unhappy to see people attacking each other when all people can see and read.Although we can't see who you really are,it's kind of degrading...I bet if they put their pictures instead of just their avatar or someone elses picture,they will think twice.

Hello Diane, your intentions are good, but I have to say that no ceasefire will work. You're not the first person to point out this problem. Almost every week, we get a call from somebody to put an end to all this strife, and to no avail.

I'm sure by now you've already noticed that some of the old-timers get a lot of TDs, right? I personally do not think these TDs are wholly the work of the two camps involved in the fighting. Although I'm just a newcomer compared to most people here, and yet I have sensed that somebody else aside from these two camps has been playing with the feelings of people here, and creating more havoc in the process.

It's all really in the trick. Why I know this is because the same thing has been happening to other sections of Answers as well. This is not an isolated case to YAP. Impostors, stalkers, unruly trolls, and abuse-reporters are very rampant out there. Impostors are the worst because they frame other people up.

That is due a long time ago. If everybody concerned, most especially some of the regulars will agree to a ceasefire. Maybe for a start, can we have a ceasefire for 3 days? Hoping, if that will be successful, extend it a little bit longer.

Suggestions:
1) No hitting below the belt.
2) Be careful with the words we used. (best effort) Meaning, its not anybody's intention to hurt other's feeling.
3) Do not mention any member of the answers' family and curse them. We must leave them alone.
4) Start the ceasefire immediately. For some, it will be easy and for some, it means death. LOL (joke only)
5) For 3 days, give every answer a thumbs up. If you do not like the answer, just leave it as is. (no thumbs down)
