People who are rude are the ones who are often insecure and are seeking to knock others down in a misguided effort to see above the knees of the rest.

honestly,You never know why people act like they do... maybe this person is having a really hard time in their personal life.

You can't really control how other people act, but you can control how you react to them. Why don't you say something kind to her like, "You must be having a really hard day... I hope it gets better!"? You just may be the only person that extends kindness to her that day.You may never know.

We cannot just pass judgment on people whose remark we perceive as rude, sweetie because we ourselves can be rude, too, sometimes to other people, our brothers, sisters, even our mom and dad. Sometimes those people we consider rude may turn out to be better than our best friends for all seasons!;=)

I always try to be understanding to rude people because there must be some underlying reasons for their rudeness. For instance, they may be experiencing hard life (overworked but underpaid), no bf/no gf, (poor social life), midlife crises (for men) menopause symptoms/ menstruation (for women). I always justify their rudeness by these reasons to make me feel better. It works for me most time.

Hmmm..rude people that I know, I tell them off. And explain to them that what they just did was wrong. So they'd be aware that it was a rude thing what they just did. But rude people that I don't know, either I just ignore them or I also tell them using 2 or 3 words that they were being rude.

well, it depends how rude they're being, if they like for example call you a stupid f*** yes, just smile and say hello or just ignore them or smile then pull an angry face and squint and they should back off,
