of course not.
Please remember that YA has Philippines under the Travel category which means that everybody are welcome to use this place to post any question they want (provided that it follows the guidelines) and answers as well... |

I think it would not be right. Anyone on Yahoo Answers planning to travel to the Philippines will naturally "inquire" via YAP, and we all jump in with our 2 cents worth of advice on where to go, what to see, where to stay, with a couple of security tips thrown in.
That is a role we all want to play - - - be the most hospitable host to guests. And we can always start within the YAP pages. |

I KEEL YOU!

No it shouldn't. That would be ignorant. Why exclude other people that wish to learn about the Philippines? People that have an interest in visiting the Philippines and want tips on locations and activities... I rarely post in the Philippines section, but my wife does quite often as she is filipina. I would be a bit upset if i were unable to post in the section because i dont know alot about the Philippines and may have many questions when it is time for us to go to visit her family. |

Try going to exclusive golf clubs, and exclusive resorts. Or even exclusive bars. You would not want the atmosphere. |

No. Isn't it that the most interesting and challenging questions are the ones that actually and sincerely ask about what to expect when they travel to the Philippines? Perspective from visitors is always welcome. |

No. This is a travel section that should help others to know more about the country and citizens. |

Nope, everyone is welcome especially those who need informations about Philippines. |

Definately not, this forum is open to one and all.
Even a foreigner could have something to contribute to this forum. |

I have read some very good response.
Just think if it was exclusive to Filipino's only. The knowledge base would be limited to the prepectives of one culture only and I do not think this would go over very well on an international travel forum.
Much can be learned from the collective thoughts and experiences of others. Forums like YA make the world easier to understand and opens many doors |

It should be open to all people who want to participate in a reasonable manner. People who have malicious intentions like dominating through cheating, people who try to malign other people through well placed words, people who try to befriend others with the intention of setting them up for a fall are not welcome in my opinion. Sadly, my opinion matters very little here as I have no army of trolls. |

If you want to make Yahoo Phils. exclusive, you have to create your own website..As far as I knew , this website is not own by Filipinos. |

Negative to that.
This playground will not be as much fun without them.
Imagine we're playing a wargame. What should we do? Fight each other, or do boxing with Mexicans, Thais, Uruguayans, Koreans, etc? As that ad for "Invasion: Philippines Vs. The World", the tickets wont sold half as much if there are only Pinoys slugging it out.
So, come one, come all! And watch the Little Green Grouch get beaten up by Mr. Well with his $5 Million dollar gloves! |

Should be however, if our aim is to build friendship and promote our country, specially showcasing Filipinos' wit and intelligence, then let others come and be welcomed. |

Of course not, it should be open to everyone. The exchange of information knows no color. The intent is to assemble a wide knowledge base from which anyone can benefit, and if we restrict ourselves to a certain group, then that defeats the purpose. |

ALWAYS WELL

For all wants and purposes it is, isn't it. What chance has anyone have when 5people can answer the same question over 50 times. Is that what you are implying. |
