Lack of discipline and respect for law. |

Apathy.
To elaborate:
garbage thrown anywhere. Graffiti. Tendency to blame the government instead of personally taking actions to prevent/ improve the condition. Too much emphasis on celebrities, little on personal education, ethics. |

People do NOT take any pride in their work ; also for everything that they do wrong they always have an excuse . "Oh , it's the governments fault " or , "My mother's brother's cousin's wife was sick that day and I was sad " |

The people. They complain about the massive corruption taking place yet they keep voting for the same people/families into office. For example, ERAP has overthrown in a corruption scandal and now people seem to be listening to him again.....they just don't learn. As the saying goes: "Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice shame on me." |

the "real" problem in our country? The people. The People who don't use their brains during election periods. The people who likes going out to the streets after their "chosen one" didn't meet these people's expectations. |

Who cares...just blame the Americanos who left 17 years ago and then go beg them for money and claim how great things were with the Japs and Spanish...
The problem with PI is that the people who kill us and spit in our face we love, like Marcos, but those who really try to help we just blame because our president steals the money..
But what happens one day when Peso is 1 to 1 dollar and dollar is worthless like peso...what do we do then because we beg and plead and then whine and moan as we pocket the cash. |

one of the problems is social injustice which causes poverty and the lack of opportunities. poverty is not a problem but as a result of problems.
another is poor law enforcement, this increases corruption. criminal law is properly enforced in the country, there will be negligible corruption.
another problem is Filipinos who hate their own people and their country. they are the loudest and the first to criticize anything and everything about the Philippines and its people yet they're not helping to improve the situation. i bet you, when these people get elected or hold public office they will be corrupt. get rid of these types of people and that will solve 25% of the other problems. |

Lack of family planning and lack of access to affordable birth control.
As a result:
Infrastructure cannot keep up with the population.
The number of jobs cannot keep up with the population (allowing the asinine practice of requiring college degrees for jobs that do NOT need a college background).
Women are having larger families than they want.
Pollution is increasing because too many people are producing too much garbage.
Water supply may be in big trouble in about 20 years (this is not just here but all of Asia).
Empowering the women of the Philippines to control their bodies and families with education about family planning and subsidized birth control will turn the country around. |

Problem, problem, problem....everything is problem in the Philippines.
The government, whoever the president is or will be,,,,,,,will never stop for doing corruption. Politicians used their money to fool POOR and AMBITIOUS people to have a seat in the government,
People on the other hand used/ and using politicians for money they can get.
Students supported by the government are there in the streets to fight against the president. Who is intelligent now? The Senators who graduated from reputable schools? That's a big problem now.
Media is a big problem...They can not serve the Philippines for free. Everything is business.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH EVERYTHING IS REALLY A PROBLEM.
You want to be part of the problem? Then stay in the Philippines. |

Here are a few:
- Overpopulation
- Lack of facilities/ infrastructure- school buildings, roads, etc.
- Corruption
- Unequal wealth and land distribution
Personally I think we're trying to be an industrialized country when we should be focusing on our core competency, which is agriculture. We try to be cosmopolitan when we are an agricultural country! Because of our unrealistic wants, we exploit our natural resources hence killing ourselves in the process. |

Extreme colonial mentality. The symptoms typically include: ethnic forgery (everything from skin bleaching to outright fraudulent claims of ancestry), hypersexuality, religious guilt, mental laziness, materialism, overdramatization, dishonesty, persistent denial of realities, and general neuroses. |
