how true is this statement?

I think this statement is only true up to a certain extent. In other words, it is not true all the time. While it is really best to believe when things are seen, there comes a point in time when faith takes over and we just have to believe what we do not see.

windblown
Not 100%. Sometimes you must follow your gutfeel. You will be seldom wrong. Sometimes, just follow your instincts.

i belive in "To feel is to believe..." blinds cant see, but its doesnt mean that they dont belive..

ashana2304
yes it's true that seeing is believing, in some cases..but come to think of it, that the most important things in this world are those that we don't see..

I'd say 20% or less if you are visually impaired. We, humans, were blessed with 5 senses: touch, smell, sight, hearing, and taste. They were all interconnected to our heart and brain which judges whether we should believe what we saw, heard, felt, tasted and smelled. =)

This could be tru or not true depending on the context in which this is used.

So many examples have been given about things we believe in, yet these are things we do not, and can not see. Like air. Or God (no one has seen Him).

Yet, there are things one needs to see to believe. Evidences in court must be presented and seen to be believed .

People sometimes need to be presented to prove that they are alive (and well) such that there are petitions for habeas corpus.

So this statement could be true, or not true.

Not always true..There are things that don't need to be seen for you believe and there are things that you can't/won't believe even if you see them with your own two eyes..
I agree with Windblown, sometimes you just have to follow your instincts and what your heart tells you.

?
I don't believe this statement.

Can you see the air that you're breathing? Definitely not, but we believe that it exists.
Have we seen our own brain? No. But we believe that we have one. (^_^)

meek e
i don't believe this

very true... although we cannot see God, we can see His blessings and we can see how He works in our life...

Seeing is believing but there are things unseen but one believes in. I'd say about 75% the statement is true.
