The problem is not just with foreigners living here or coming here. Thailand has a big problem. You can read in the Thai newspapers about Thai men having sex with underage children, this include Thai teachers. You never see it in the English based papers here. It's ashame, but it's a problem all over the world.

Where i used to work one guy used to go to the Philipines on a regular basis, and i don't think it was for 'girls'. He went 'mad' when he heard that the British government was trying to put a stop to it. He said something like 'why should the British government now apply their laws abroad'. Sad 'eh!

It is not the Thai girls fault that when they are in their 20's or 30's they look like teenagers! Don't mistake a short and petite Thai woman for a someone much younger. Unlike when some Farang women who are huge and are 30 but look like they are 50!

Next time you suspect something illicit going on stop and ask the guy who the girl is and how old is she? Don't be surprised if the girl is his daughter! Don't be surprised if she is much older than you think!

If you are worried about child sex then you ought to check out your local Catholic church back home where the priests have been diddling little boys for centuries! And they are still doing it today - just read the newspapers!

They are being sold into it to try and make some money! 'Rich' people are able to offer money for sex with these children and because they are so poor they accept. without sounding cold hearted, its just basic business "supply and demand" i was there 2 years ago and was disgusted by the whole way the country is run, there were 4 guys from London bragging about how they had ALL slept with the same 13 year old girl at the same time and paid her the equivalent of Â£2. it was disgusting and so open.
