Yes, its life ! Just like Garumi said, fair or otherwise really depend on individual and how one looks at it !

But the key words in today world are work SMART ! You don't have to 'bodek' anyone, but please do not creates enemy. After all you are seeing them almost daily !

Try to enrich yourself with all the knowledge that come your way, learn as much as possible and one day you definitely will flourish in others organisation.

Take the present set-back situation as a challenge and never give-up, thinks positive !

yes Gigi...in my office also same, i worked hard and even thought the ones that dont know the job, but when bonus /promotion time comes, they get more than me just because they "butter" the high management. Whereas for me i dont like to butter people, i like them to value my work as 'fair'...now i just play smart. Dont work hard, but work smart. Gud luck !

As human being it's really hard to be fully fair and just, whether you are corrupted or not. Favouritism is part of our basic characteristic although we always try to stay away with it. The only thing we can do is to adapt and live with it and try to be as fair as we can.

You don't need to understand but everyone may experience such situation. Nothing in this world will favor you or others absolutely .. i just another concept of making this world goes round and round and round. Fair or Unfair is actually a matter of emotional and psychology ... someone may look at things as unfair when it against them ... they will never really know the real fact. For example .. you think you work very hard ... and your colleague work 'less' ... however you may not know the potential and quality that he/she possess ... maybe better or worst ... who knows ... so fairness is a myth .. same goes to equality and freedom.
