In war there is never any right or wrong. Leaders have to make decisions that are in the best interests for their own country and people.
If the situation had been reversed and the japanese/germans had the atomic bomb, do you honestly believe they would not have used it?

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. To the victim of Hiroshima, it is definitely very wrong. But to the victim of World War 2, it is just the right thing to do. The most important is what we have learned from it.

It was alot of both. Though it was wrong to kill so many civies, had america tried to invade, over a million or more people on both sides of the cinflict would have been slaughtered. Besides, Japan was already planning to drop their own bomb on an american city just two days after hiroshima, until america wiped Nagasaki off the map. From there japan put up the white flag.

At that time, it was viewed as being the right thing to do. They were not aware of what would truly happen, but it did bring about an end to the war. It caused tension between allies. But the hoped for ending occured. Japan surrendered.
