CHOCO CRUNCHIES
 |
I cursed math everyday of my high school days.
I find it so hard to understand that I either fall asleep or do something else.
But there were days when I listened and understood the lesson. |

Well not really, I sometimes find it really hard to understand, but sometimes easier for me. And then I realized, the teacher and the teaching methods have a lot to do with it.(Sa tingin ko lang ha) |

No, im not one of them. Though sometimes I said those words but i really don't mean it. I love math but in highschool, my teacher really made a hell out of me because of her methods.
Math is everywhere, I even watch Num3rs the television series. Its so good. Solving crime through math. |

No math was one subject that had a easy grade. Staying interested in school at all was a problem. |

That was one of my fav subject in school days. It helped me a lot in doing engineering. |

Yes, I am one of those who hated the mathematics subjects.
But now, I am used to it. As a senior technician, I must calculate and compute certain amount of pressure to a hydraulic and pneumatic type of machines. Estimating air pressure for the multiple air switches were so hard and now we are on a project of building a huge boiler machine here in our company. My task: estimation of length and size of pipes.

I took Psychology in the (mistaken) idea that it would be Math free because Algebra and the higher maths just don't come to me naturally. I have to concentrate harder to understand the whole process. And guess what? I have several classes in Statistics which we likewise used heavily in our thesis. On top of that, would you believe that part of my job responsibilities includes budgeting and payroll??? You just can't get away with it.. |

I hated math. I am the only one in my family who doesn't have a knack for math. But having said that, I know it is something that is essential. If math was never invented we'd be years behind in technology, in physical structure, in basically everything. |

math was a necessary evil. to barely pass it is good enough. theres always the calculator to compute everything in real life. |

I love math --particularly the accounting major subjects.
I just hate those unrealistic math subjects like calculus. |

No. I actually got a high of 90% in calculus during my HS days and almost flat 1.00 in quantitative analysis and also got a low of 3.00 during my college years. So, do I hate math? No but the teachers that teach math are. Can't they make it not so bookish? |

I avoided Math like the plague, but it's one of those necessary evils, unfortunately. |

I plead guilty as charged.
So, hang me! I'd say my chances of landing 6 feet under if you do that would be about 53%, about 33% my surviving but with a permanent tilt of the head, and about 70% of my coming outa there alive and well and singing "The Sound of Music" with relish. |
