strong family ties because i won't live in fear of being sent to some retirement facility when i get old. i love the way the family members of a filipino family look after each other with care, love and loyalty.

and i appreciate our being good-tempered and sweet-natured. we find reasons to smile and laugh in times of trouble.

I am proud to say that our country is very rich in Natural Resources. We have lots of tourist spots that can show to the foreign visitors. Being a filipino, we have the greatest culture that you cannot found to other country. We are excellent for this characters and to be proud of. We are very nice people, understanding, loving and sincere. Some says that filipinos are very hospitable.

Hmmn. I don't know.. let me see... I have to look back to my younger years when i was ostracized(for what reasons?)all my life as a teen highschooler. I went to catholic university-UST, fortunately, my wealthy and broad-minded classmates were uhhmn... broad-minded. After graduation, i was hired by PLDT (laoag city) and here we go again with the envious ostracism to a point that I got myself transferred back to Makati Head offcs where my life changed by an obsession of a big boss- that led my family to get me out of the Philippines impromptu, with no delay- now tell me, how do i feel being a filipino, or what is my favorite thing about a filipino?

Now, up here in Canada, i am well-liked by Canadians, Indians, Jamaicans,and a whole bunch more of other races, while i am being given dirty looks(snobbed) by my fellow countrymen.. that says it all what is my 'favorite thing' about being a Filipino. Must I ask should I be proud to be one?
