Basically ketchup is made of tomatoes. But here in Manila, we also have a banana ketchup which i think has the same ingredient of tomato ketchup but instead of tomato, they use banana filling ( i think the SABA banana is use) and now, they're marketing the Mango ketchup, it has the same taste as the tomato ketchup but it looks like a mustard because of its yellow texture. ^_^

......primary ingredient is tomatoes but to make a sweet tasting taste, they add bananas......thats why there are 2 different catsups available - pure tomato catsup and banana catsup....

Tomato. As you can cleary see from the bottle, the product is bright red. Bananas are not red.

But the history of the Ketchup started Long time ago.. like about 1875 or 65 not sure
Ketchup is made from the green thing on top of the Tomato
Ketchup was also forbedn to eat because it was very bad..

anyways.. the first person who ate it because he was sick and ketchup was the only CHEMICAL back then..

So he ate it and something happend to this guy.. before they also used Ketchup to kill a kind on Insects.. and now we call this chemical Ketchup.. and we eat it too !!
