The best fun I've had in Manila was when some friends of mine took me to a nice restaurant and afterwards we went out to go dancing in a neighboring club. I really enjoyed it and the food was really great and we had so much fun the people are so nice and friendly and I felt at home.

Bar-hopping after class once every month with friends back when I was in college... Strolling along baywalk with mah gurlz after a fight with my then-boyfriend-now-ex... Window-shopping in Robinson's Malate and fantasizing about having the must-have designer shoes that we could never afford with our allowance... and an impromptu trip to Star City. ^_^

Gyle from Valenzuela City, Phil.
1. Having coffee with friends and just talking and enjoying each other's company
2. Going around Divisoria and Quiapo - so many interesting things to see and buy
3. Having sisig and cook along Manila Bay --- those rows of resto on Baywalk
4. Shopping early in the morning during one of those mega-sale in Megamall and Glorietta (like 10:15AM!)
5. Watching movies with my family

Manila or Metro Manila is a big city. But it's not the city that really matters for me but it's the people around me which made the difference in enjoying what that place can offer.

Definitely, it would be shopping. Manila is considered as the shopping capital of Asia, and has the largest number of Mega Malls. The third, fourth, and sixth largest malls in the world are all in Manila.

Shopping with my two kuyas.

One of my Kuyas works for a senator there. And so when he was touring me around Manilla, he would be able to get me at the head of every line just by telling the people in charge that I was the senator's daughter.

Who says you can't have fun with corrupt government?
