Both of us have survived horrendous tragedies. The difference is that while you seek out vengence and darkness to cover up your wounds both physical and emotional, I seek out retribution and the light to reveal my wounds. We have both seen how deep the abyss of humanity's dark potential is, and we are both deep in that abyss. The difference is that I look towards the light while you take pleasure in knowing that there are others in the pit with you. I seek to lead others out of the abyss you seek to bring them in. You have a desire to do good, but you feel so much better when you let the evil inside of you take over. You've tried to do good, but no matter how hard you try, your dark side always returns and conquers over your desire to be good. It is hard for both of us to smile, and on the rare occasion that we do smile, it is usually for different reasons. You smile when you have just gotten revenge on an enemy or when you have brought down someone into the abyss with you. I smile when I bring that someone back out of the abyss. You don't want to be who you are. You are ashamed to face up to your true self. The potential for greatness is within you, all you have to do is face of the demons inside of you. You have spent years letting those demons take control of you because it makes you feel so much better to know that others are suffering for what they did to you. But now you must summon up all the courage you have and face down those evils. You can triumph over them. That is the true path. To conquer yourself.
