I have always admired and enjoyed the safe and clean environment throughout the city state. Then there are the superbly efficient transport and telecommunication infrastructure that make living so convenient. Last but not least, Singapore is truly a gourmet paradise - such high quality food and variety from food-court fare to fine dining establishments. These come to mind as "first-impression"; as a regular visitor, I feel there isn't a physical structure that can be representational of Singapore (national icons like Great Wall, Liberty Statue etc). If I were to choose one, it would be "Phua Chu Kang" - no la, just play play only!! |
