The best black & white and also my favourites would be all those from P.Ramlee's and one of them was Madu Tiga! it was so hilarious!..

Then, the current would be ...hmmm... i would say 'Jangan Pandang Belakang' and those from Afdlin Shauki'e movies.. they are worth to watch..

i simply hates those lame stupid local comedy movies (other than Afdlin's ) who the heroes would be Apek.. i wonder how people can enjoy it....

color punya... bukit kepong, mekanik, kami, buli 1 & 2 (very good), i like buli, because before my father pass away he tengok this movie with my family... when sampai part jalil hamid said his father don't minta maaf to him.. tiba2 my father cry and minta maaf to all of us and he really mean it. in the time we tengok movie lawak, we cry together.

Mostly all of P.Ramlee films.

Until then.. I don't like any other films for Malay movies, even I'm a Malay.. but I just dont have the feel to watch Malay movies now.

I really hope that P.Ramlee is still alive and I'm sure our films is good as much as English movies if he direct it.

In Malaysia, I dont see any Malay movies due to most of the language spoken is in English.. Furhermore, mostly lates films will have Apek as hero and Fasha Sandha as heroin. Gimme a break, where are others actors?

all of PRamlee's. watching them everytime i am on board MAS on international flight. havent watched many malay movies but i remember i used to love watching kisah benar on tv3 (ahem i know its not movie oh well).

also many other chinese series that i wouldnt have a clue what the titles are. one i remember clearly was based on the lifestyle of the hawkers in Petaling Street. was cool and loved it. reflective of reality. sometimes i really did believe malaysian productions can beat those of taiwan/china, in terms of the storyline (maybe not hongkong).

after having astro, i think we have totally forsaken malaysian movies. so sad.

The Bujang Lapuk series, also Afdlin Shauki movies.. It's funny but not funny stupid.. Ad I also love Yasmin Ahmad movies.. It's great but sadly, majority Malaysians dont recognize it to be great.
