Ethnic song? None
Folk song:
♦Bahay-kubo
Ethnic dance:
♦Maglalatik: male dancers with coconut shells attached to their bodies dance and tap the shells. When the speed picks up, it's as if the dancers are swarmed by mosquitos! Hahaha! |

i love the sikaran (from southern tagalog)
well its actually not a dance, its more of choreographed combat.
i saw an exhibition one time, its not an ethnic performance, but what they did was they danced using the combat moves, and used an ensemble of percussion as musical accompaniment. |

For some reason, I am particularly fond of the "Itik-itik". I don't really know why, I just happen to find the dance cute. ^_^ |

I honestly prefer our Spanish-era dances like "Aray" (the only known song written in Chavacano Ermitano, an extinct type of hybrid Spanish spoken in Manila's Ermita district).
