lee kuan yew (prime minister of singapore from 1959 to 1990.
entertainment :
1) zoe tay (labelled as the "queen of the caldecott hill"). she's the darling of the chinese movie makers.
2) taufik batisah - the 1st winner of the singapore idol. great voice, good personality.
sports:
fandi ahmad (the favourite football son who is now a professional coach)
arts & culture:
catherine lim (her works have been published in the US & some european countries). used to study her novel when i was doing my english literature at school years ago. |
