Being surrounded by my family to enjoy a moment of fun, away from the madding crowd, even if we only feast on junk foods and softdrinks is simple pleasure that delights me.
To take a walk around the village with my grandchildren is pleasant for me.
To have a girls' talk with my 2 married daughters with no serious discussions is pleasure in itself.
I don't need to spend much for my enjoyment; I don't have to go the distance to find pleasure because I see it everyday in my life. |

This is a hard question & each person definitely have a unique answer of their own.
But to answer, there are so many but to name a few things:
-waking up in the morning & knowing your love ones made it through the night & everybody's safe & had a good night's sleep.
-knowing that everything could end in a moment or everything can come crashing down & that you still have one more day to live your life healthy & strong.
-knowing you still have another new day to correct whatever mistake you made yesterday or the day before.
-eating a meal together or just spending time with your entire family everyday & on occasions or even on the weekends--eating out or having a reunion with your relatives & close friends.
-understanding that the best things in life are free but might be hard to find or even notice & when you finally do then we have found our simple pleasures in life. |
