Maayong adlao (good day), Trisha....yours is a very beautiful province...it boasts of over a thousand kilometers of scenic and golden sandy beaches. Among them, the Antulang Beach and Tambolo Bay in Siaton (mentioned by Yak Rider). Then, there's the 8 known waterfalls and 33 caves...so much to offer tourists and nature lovers. And my personal favorite, the world-class Silliman University in Dumaguete City. I'm sure you are very proud of your home province as I am of mine (Iloilo). Mabuhay!

Philippines is a beautiful country with a lot beautiful pinays and some are very exotic... Philippines is my home... and I miss it very much... I miss the rooster's cook-a-doodle in our province every morning... the fresh air in the farm... the humid temperature... and the people that I cherish...

Philippines is a home of intelligent people... We can communicate with other people especially foreigners because most of us can speak and understand English...and some places in the Philippines also speak and understand Spanish which is the second Universal Language(such as the Chavacanos in Zamboangoa and other parts) We are in-demand in other countries because of our industriousness and we can easily adapt to that certain environment...

Philippines is very unique... We were colonized with 3 different super power nations such as Spain, U.S.A., and Japan... that's why our culture are varied and mixed... We have different kinds of ancestors and different kinds of people(such as the ******, Natives, Mestizos, Half-, Pure, etc)... we also have variety of religions...(mostly Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, some are Jewish, Buddhists, etc)...

The only thing that I wouldn't talk about is our government... if only we could have better leaders and politicians that aren't corrupt, we would not have been recognized as a 'third world country'...

well, the island that you came from is a very beautiful island... maybe one day, I would like to go there for a vacation...

I love my country,I am born here,married here,have 2 children.Even when times are hard I could really say that I will not leave this country in favor of another.I have never thought of living in another country just to have a good life.Where ever you live if your life is a mess and you think you cannot make it,then you really wont.I'm proud to be a pinoy and that's what I teach to my kids,coz no matter where we are we are still pinoys!Mabuhay and mga pinoy!

It is still a great country in spite of everything (especially corruptions.) Yeah, aside from travelling to the 7,107 islands in the Philippines you will experience the unique charm of my historic land. People are naturally warm, friendly and hospitable.
My country is rich of culture & history, then you will discover more pristine white beaches, rainforests, mangroves, corals, marine sanctuaries & so much more. Then the Philippines is the world's third largest English-speaking country after the UK & the US then Philippines is the largest Christian country in Asia.<*-*>

the philippines, i hate to say but a country of crime and slavery.. i've been a victim several times of cruel filipinos who use other filipinos to steal money and abuse them.. despite of all the natural beauty of the Philippines, the people are the source of this beauty's destruction and loss of integrity..

I can say that given a choice of living anywhere in the Philippines, I would live in Bacolod. I have relatives living there and really love the place. It has the ammenties of a city and is spread out and laid back. The people are nice and friendly.

Unfortunately my asawa is from Iloilo and the part of the family she is close to lives here. So we live here, it's not a bad second choice. I hope oneday to have enough to buy a lot and build a resthouse at my favorite resort www.palmas-del-mar.com
