What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing? Did your goals change? If so, why?

As a kid, all I wanted to become is a railway engine driver - because I felt that I could get to travel a lot that way !
Circumstances willed it that I become a radio journalist instead, and then an adman. And both careers found me traveling a lot - but only as a passenger !
:-)
That is Life, my friend !

It's complicated and I'm working on it.

When I was young I wanted to become a priest because I got 99% in religion. I did not pursue it because I learned somebody got 100%.

back then, i wanted to be a nun, a doctor, a private detective, an assassin, etc... all the cool stuff every kid with a great imagination wanted.

but... i grew up and realized that life isn't that easy.

now, i'm a physical therapist graduate but i'm a full-time mom at the moment because my kids aren't old enough to be left alone yet and i want my kids to grow up with me guiding them and taking care of them. besides, my husband earns enough to keep us afloat, at least for the time being. money isn't our priority right now, what's important is for our kids to be well-taken care of, healthy, and with manners and principles that we can be proud of.

sorry, too much information...he-he-he!

An actress and second choice rock drummer :)

They sure did, because I was painfully shy (acting) and not disciplined enough to pursue drumming seriously. Oh well, I survived :)

..

interesting question... back then, i wanted to be a Nurse, later on wanted to be an Architect..

....but things changed when I saw an onion sheathe under the microscope.. I became interested of what is beyond and started to be more interesting of things you can see but you cannot see with your naked eye.. my job is interesting, you have to love it to appreciate it..

And it did not made me regret my decision.. it is all worth it...

:)

When i was a kid, i wanted to be like Britney Spears. But that was way way way back then when i was young and st*pid.

then around 3 years later, i wanted to be a traveler. i also wanted to be an archaeologist. these were because i watched way too much adventure movies like Atlantis or treasure planet.

My goals changed because so did my environment. it's connected to some psychological blah blah something that i can't elaborate. sorry.

now i'm taking up tourism. yep, i still want to be a traveler.

I did not achieved what I wanted to be. I ended up on a different field as far as career is concern. I believe that there are things not meant to happen for you and God has another plan. Nevertheless, I am happy and content of what I have and what I am now.

And you know what, when you were a kid you have your own thoughts and those thoughts would change as you grow up. The way you perceive things in life will change as you become mature. Let say, you like the color green when you were a kid but as you grow up it seems that you like color blue better. The environment thats happening around you may also contribute on the way you think. And the only permanent thing in this world is--CHANGE.
