Pinoys are absolutely not jealous of white men with Pinays. If people were staring at you, they were probably astonished by your beauty. Maybe there was this intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to their minds aroused by sensory manifestations of your personality. Were you wearing sexy dress or you demonstrated desirous affection with your bf in public which is supposed to be in private. Otherwise, it was just an impeccable admiration.

Alot of Filipino's in general assume way to quickly. Simply put they see a white guy with a non white girl they'll automatically think she's with him for his money. Most likely they will think she is a bargirl or something along those lines. Sucks I now but thats the way it is.

I am an older American married to a younger Filippina and resent being called an old bastard ? My wife also is not a Gold Digger , as you put it . We met when I was vacationing in Philippines and for your information . Neither one of us wanted to come back here . I am also stared at , I'm sure , By others who have such a narrow stereotypical view on relationships . Try to educate yourself next time about relationships before you start judging others . Don' t just listen to your parents think for your self !

Maybe they are jealous. I am from the US, but have lived all over the world - including Manila from the age of 32 - 36. I had two girlfriends while I was there, both in their late 20's and had proper jobs (like where they pay income tax :-). For some reason there were still issues with being mixed nationality, and yes I think there is a bit of jealousy when Filipino men see foreigners with Filipinas, but mostly men who are less educated.

It's actually a shame, I think it is much more exciting being with someone from a different background than my own - it kind of broadens views on a lot of things. Imagine the chance of raising children who grow up with two cultures and languages as opposed to one! They would have a priceless advantage over most people in the world, not to speak of double the opportunities .....

The philippines has a bit of a weird culture. Whenever they see a caucasian man-filipina they always think of the filipina as a gold digger or a ****. Same is true with japanese men - filipina. Not only are they discriminated in their own country but also in japan they are extremely discriminated.

You shouldnt let these things bother you. Though Im pretty sure there are ladies out there who are jealous :)

there are always going to be people that will stare.a lot of people don't like interracial couples.they think people shouldn't date outside their race.and yes some guys probably feel their women are being stolen but that's probably because they are alone and resentful.just try to ignore those narrow minded people and focus on the person your with don't let them enterfere with your happiness.

If you truly love your boyfriend, you wouldn't let other people get in the way. If those people giving you and your boyfriend rude stares were in your shoes, they'd be asking the same thing. It is perfectly normal. Interracial relationships are starting to be a little more common today. Plus, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. Everyone is free to date outside of their race and it is completely to that persons decision to take it even further. Now on the jealousy topic, me personally, I don't have a problem with White men dating Filipina women but if they start to disrespect or use Filipinas, then there will be conflicts.

Filipino men dont usually get jealous when they see Filipina's having a relationship with a foreigner, its quite common nowadays, but they get really furious when they heard of a Filipina being abused by other nationalities.

Some like it some don't. If like most young people do you are making a spectacle you may get angry looks for your bad manners.
White men are in demand everywhere we go. Simply because most of us have jobs and treat our women well. For you to get a young one is a reason for others to be jealous.
We have never had a problem and when she introduces me I am always greeted with respect.
I have no complaints.
Again think about how you present yourself.

I don't think too many have a problem. The problem only when you see the real old men with a 18 year old then it just looks so wrong. There are few as well that tend to pick up bar girls which then seems to tarnish the rest of us as being creeps who looking for someone who will act like a slave.
Most looking as it something different to the Filipino and giving the philippines not a huge tourist destination for the 'white' countries we seem kind of rare there. I think with the younger population it envy as i notice when you go somewhere like sm you notice all the girls there looking at you and smiling. Go out around the town and they all peeping and smiling so cant say it would be bad thoughts.
I am 25 and my wife 22. When i go to her home way down in Iligan the whole community near her home all come racing out to shake your hand or get a photo with you. You kind of want to keep a low profile but there no chance once someone sees you.
I think what you feeling is after it happens everywhere you go you get sick of it. It nice at first then the feeling wears off and you want to be able to go where your going without being centre of attention.
Your boyfriend will stand out as he is still young the majority of foreigners they see are over twice our age. So it even more rare to see a young interracial couple
ask most they will be saying wow gwapo:)

it much worse if you go to hong kong. it seems they hate seeing interracial couples and had the feeling they looking down on the filippino seeing so many are house maids there. Thats the only place i felt angry enough to say something back about the stares

as long as you are happy with your boyfriend and you love him then fight for him even though he's not an asian guy..

Stare has different conotations here in the Philippines. Might be rude might be envy. Filipinos are so open to inter-racial relationships, it has been here for a century already as you mentioned you are decent of Chinese-Filipino as well. You have to ignore stares because most Filipinos dont see staring as rude all the time. they stare maybe because they are intrigued, maybe curious?

Being a Native Filipino, our first impression when we see people like you is a disparate person coz of being used yet, secondly, we feel pity to you coz your value is to cheap like a stuff toy in equivalent, not like valuable Filipinas it might equivalent to hectares of farmlands, hundreds of gram of gold, car, hundreds of thousands pesos before you got her, but like you just few words and a thousand dollar is enough. So donâ€™t blamed us if looking you with your white bull boy friend, thatâ€™s the real reason. Thanksâ€¦ I hope you will know .

Sorry tell you, if there are Filipinas like you, I my self considered them as a garbage that rotting our culture and the Phillipine society.
