none of you guys have any idea how beautiful and exotic Malaysia is!

Pls. do not attempt any comment unless you know about the place.

It is one of the top exotic place in earth.

I don't know about what "people" think, but I think of a friend in college who was from there and told me of the social segmentation between the Muslim, Christian and Hindu population, and how the government attempts to appear fair but is actually biased in terms of who gets better quality of life, oppurtunities and education. 8)

to me it would be :malaysia truly asia with its citizens being very very blessed in many ways despite the little tensions here and there...a country in asia that has grown from a cub into a tiger in many aspects....!

haha...this is soooooo funny hearing these 2 ppl here 'debating'!.
'theban_triads' got a point there!!! things are the way they are! why deny it? recognising a problem is the first step towards fixing it! why cover up? thats a typical 'kampung' way to proceed! how will malaysia progress towards a developed nation by 2020 when its ppl are still in denial? (i like the way u think theban!!!we need more people like you!)

to 'someone' stop writing in malay please! i believe that you haven't read the community guidelines yet! its always good to be proud of our heritage and language but keep it to the right place....

this question has sparked some interesting opinions. however, a few ppl people got it all wrong but thats fine by me! think of it this way: maybe these few 2 cents here were given by quarters who are not very well educated!(?) so why bother?..

P.S: check out my link to a similar question pertaining to malaysia which i had posted a month back!

Some foreigners think we live in trees. That's possibly because our tourism board always show forests and islands in their advertisements.

We live houses made of bricks and some choose to live in houses made of wood, because of its tradition and possibly ventilation.

Good food, bad traffic, nice people, rain, good shopping, cool elephants, colorfull birds/butterflies and road construction. ;-)

i love malaysia as i live here! delicious food and friendly people and always ready to defend their country...sometimes even by means of hipocrisy:

to 'someone' isn't it such hipocrisy that u claim to be so all-knowing on malaysia and wanting to preserve its image by fighting here BUT u urself answer such questions:

Went to Penang (in Malaysia) years ago, remembering that it was a nice drive, green, cool, foggy and clean.
Malaysia has good badminton players. It was fun playing against a Malaysian student in Grad School Intramural! I thought I was good beating him but ending up losing to an Arab later!
Hope Malaysians are not involved in the disturbance in South Thailand though.

No country better than other, no human better other human, we not GOD to judge other.

Here my opinion about Malaysia:

Is safe country, friendly people, we not dirty, we are multi races, culture and belief. We respect other and full of tolerance to each other.

Also I've been involved in Oil & Gas Industry for almost 10 years and of course most of the worker are westerner. They like Malaysia. Maybe for more info about Malaysia from point of westener please visit this website http://www.expat.com.my.

By the way I really care about anybody opinion about this country, what really matter to me are everybody equal and unique.

Only thing we can be that is be the best we can

Wishing all the best!!! Thumb UP!!!
