I travel to philippines often to be with my wife and kids.
In my opinion, Filipina women are very beautiful and great lovers in the bed. If you find the RIGHT filipina, she will be your closest and most loyal partner for life. Shopping is very good due to low prices. Filipino's will not admit it but they are very jealous people.
Filipino's ask a lot of personal questions they should not ask.
Filipino's can be very judgemental toward individuals they do not know.Some Filipino's with lots of money think that life is about competition. Last but not least, Filipino's are very close to family unlike american families that are divided from each other which is not good. I am not trying offend anyone. I am speaking what I experienced in the Philippines. Americans are no better. Evil corruption is spreaded through out the world. I like filipino people regardless. I don't like the narrow minded filipino individuals who don't know how to recognize the good foreign people who love filipino people. Its so sad. I know the bad influence comes from a variety of different sources.

Some great scenery (Boracay was once voted best beach in the world). Good food, though not really spicy. Most speak English which is great. Beer is extremely cheap - and most other things are pretty cheap, too! Pretty ladies. Transportation seems pretty good.

Downsides? It's not the safest country in the world - not too bad, but you do have to be careful sometimes. Bribery and corruption exist, even more than Tony Blair. Things happen very slowly - a bit too laid back! Paperwork can be a nightmare sometimes.

As with ALL countries, the Philippines has its own problems.

We're all aware of the never-ending terrorist threats and natural calamities that haunt the country.

On the other hand, we also hear of the triumph of Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao. We hear of fans across Asia raving about Christian Bautista's and Rivermaya's music. We hear of the World Pyro Olympics and ASEAN Summit held in the country. We hear that Lea Salonga will perform in the New York production of Les Miserables anew.

I believe, more than ever, the Philippines is in a good position to give all Filipinos a brighter future.

As long as Filipinos all over the world continue loving our country, I know it can happen.

I love my country. I love the Philippines.

Prostitution, corruption and when they go(immigrate )to a other country they like it all free and don't work and get pregnant to get a permit to stay.
Then when they finally married the man abroad (the man already paid high to her parents!) the Filipino woman wishes that her family comes over to the new country.
Wake up men, if like to loose ALL money take a Filipino.

It is a RICH COUNTRY, very rich in natural resources and history! It is a beautiful country, wouldn't trade it for the world. However, it's the people, or should I say the system, that ruins it. That's the sad part that makes me wanna forsake it.

It's a nice place to visit so that you appreciate the conveniences we get used to at home. most of the people there put too much value on money, which nobody has anyway. jealousy is a big problem among them. I find them mostly to be dishonest and deceitful. If you are an american (cano) you are assumed to be filthy rich and never had to work for your money so they feel compelled to help you spend it as quickly as possible. I'd like to retire there but I will never ever be able to trust any of them. Their culture of con and rip-off will eventually ruin everything for them because of their greed at every level of society there.

I think Philippines should be govern by All-Filipinos only, and can never be dictated or influence by outsiders.
Economically, I think Philippines is 70%. $1USD is now 49.48 from 56 pesos.
Politically, I will give it 50%
Spiritually, I hate to rate it but its 50% since cleergies accepted whats coming from jueteng!
