I will take the question as being literally addressed to me. And it just bugs me that questions like this, so simple to understand, and so simple to address, gets turned around by others as though the question does not apply to themselves, but to Juan or Pedro, or the general populace, but never themselves.
What I will do depends on whether I am on camera or not.
If I am on camera (supposing I was in Big Brother's House), I will be very showbiz like and embrace that person and tell him how I really, really like him, especially the form and shape of his tounge and how such rare jewels come out of his mouth. Then, I will get a towel, put it on top of the camera to cover it, and then smack the fellow right in the mouth.
If there's no camera, why wait?

If a person is being rude (in your opinion) then you should ignore him/her. If that gives you no satisfaction or the person continues then I suggest you give him/her a good tongue lashing. This often works. To strike a person could get you into more 'hot water' than its worth.

As this was not addressed to anyone in particular how can one presume that it was meant for them. Your description on how you would handle the situation is exactly how your leader and lady in waiting do things around here. You have been a good student. |

Ignore him / her for I find indifference to be a rather effective way of dealing with such people.
There are instances though when rudeness borders on meanness, maybe even lunacy and indifference or silence is not the best course to take because the person is simply going over the top. In such instances, I give the person a peace of my mind and some lessons on decency, with this done tactfully and not out of meanness but of a genuine desire to be of help to him / her.
And when all else fails, I offer it to God. Prayers do work and so I let go and let God. |

All you need is simply control yourself. Count one to one hundred or sing silently so as to change your mood. There are lots of bastos or arrogant people nowadays. Due to lack of good manners and right conduct subject in the school nowadays. Plus, of course, due to how they're being brought up in the family. Well, the only consolation that you can think is that it's good you are not one of them.

if you strike him then that makes u the "bastos" thing your talking about, u can simply ignore him you know? dont even think this is worth asking. i beleive that lots of filipinos are not very well educated which leads to lack of manners (no offense) of course there are also lots of very well educated filipinos (most of them leaves the country though, think i know y =)). These lack of manners tend to be substituded by being tough or cool or watever they can think of. i got the impression that most of the uneducated ones are like "barbarians" they act before they even think. Very much like cavemans ha? lol just kidding cant blame em though, cuz its about that stupid government of yours.. peace! |
