- food, fashion, people, places to go/see
- entertainment/kpop (dynamic duo, IU, maslo, viva soul, nell, the melody, loveholic, humming urban stereo, w&whale)

and yes im 100% korean
moved to america when i was 3 and lived in u.s for 13 years.
been to korea 5 times

Shinchon
I am NOT Korean. However, I have lived in Korea for over four years.

The things I like about Korea: paying only $165.84 for my rented room, the food, the way you can just leave and come back on a tourist visa and stay here for nearly two years, the way the internet is everywhere (and I mean EVERYWHERE), the way that older people always insist on treating you to everything, no stupid zoning laws or "drunk in public" laws.

There are also a load of things that I don't like, but you only asked about what I do like. So I told you. ^.^

Nag-iinit
Been there. I like the food, and the people (they are very nice people).

I'm half Korea, & I'v lived here for about 11 years. I love it alot! I'v been to 4 countries, & Korea & Japan are at the top 2. I love the states, but it's just so, boring.

I love the food, fashion [ how different it is ] & the people. Entertainment is awesome, like drama & music. The boys are hot!
& It's a good country. The locals are nice to foreigners & such :]

Brandon T
The people the most. I am New Zealander and have been to Korea as a holiday.

I've been living in South Korea for a year and a few months now, and I love it. The food is amazing, the country is beautiful, and the sense of history is great. There are lots of culteral events to see and take part in. The cost of living is lower then back in Canada I find, so it allows me to have a more comfortable life style.

- my culture
(now seems somewhat awkward at times because I've been living in all these different places overseas, outside of Korea but I'm Korean no matter what)

- Korean cuisine

- speaking, hearing, reading and writing in Korean

- teaching English & Spanish

- gifts

- traditional holidays

- street foods/snacks! <3

- seeing old friends, relatives, etc.

- four distinct seasons (it's like the Northeast of the US)
(although I myself prefer SoCal-type of weather)

What i think is that the people there welcomes people warmheartedly .. YET .. if you don't pickup a few korean sentences, its really hard to communicate there because other then their native korean they also know a little bit of english and chinese ...
you can go dongdaemun market or apgujeong to shop too !
their things are affordable and pretty too =]]
i recommend korean ginseng chicken soup and kim chi chi gae .. you oughta try them out ..
if you're going there during autumn or winter, bring more clothes ..

I've never been to Korea sadly :/ but I really wish I could someday! I like their music, their language, and the landscapes. I don't know much about Korean people, I heard that they don't really like foreigners or Americans :/ so I'm scared to go to Korea D: but I hope they're really nice people ^-^ I'm Japanese, Chinese, and Philipino mixed, so I'm part asian, but look nothing like it cus I'm also caucasian xD I have one Korean friend and he's really nice though :D

Sabastien G
I"m not Korean but I visited there a couple of times. I love the food, atmosphere and the people. It's a very beautiful country. Many Americans complain because the country is ran differently and they always compare to the United States.

Just read the poster "No Nickname" He likes to say many negative things about Korea. I have never had a problem here.

The beautiful women (especially the one for me). I also love the nightlife and my quality of life because of my job.

Thank goodness I'm not a Korean man. I'm American. I feel sorry for these guys sometimes. First they have the mandatory military service which interferes with their university studies. Most of them finally graduate from university to get an office job working 60 hours a week for 2.0 million won. They get babied by their mothers until they're 30 and are socially incompetent with women. Not to mention being cursed below the belt. It's no wonder they resent the foreigners living in Korea.

snjeung: You are 100% gyopo. Nothing wrong with that.
