i miss my afternoon playtime with childhood friends like 'patintero', 'bato-lata', hide-and-seek, piko, cops-and-robbers or simply hanging out at the house of a playmate watching thundercats, voltron, he-man, g.i. joe, bugs bunny, the chipmunks, mighty mouse, etc...also climbing up the hill at the back of our subdivision without our parents knowing it, hehe...picking fruits like mango, guava, macopa, balimbing, kamias, etc.....
haay, those were the days. oh to be young and carefree, hehe! ;) |

playing "siatong" with older playmates, toys, drawing dolls, old magazines and "songhits", music of my childhood days, after-school games in the school playground, junk food outside the school like zoom-zoom, chee-zum, etc., my father taking me to school until fifth grade, my sweet personality as a sister and a daughter which I think I have already lost. |

Everything and nothing! When nostalgia sets in, I just let it play in my mind - all the sweet memories of childhood - and then I'm suddenly transported back in time. And once again, the happy days of yesteryears become real I could almost feel and hear the laughter of my playmates. It's a beautiful reverie and I indulge in it quite often. And it's healthy too - for my mind and soul. |

When I was 5 I had a batmobile. Which, subsequently, I drove down the basement steps and totalled it into the furnace.

I miss the out door games my brothers and my childhood friends use to play: making and flying kites, siyato (don't know the right spelling), turumpo, marbles, piko, kick ball or football, and jumping rope. Kids now a days doesn't know how fun it is to play outdoors. I love it. |

I missed so much my father who died when I was still 5 years old. That event changed our lives in trying to chase our dreams without a breadwinner. |

I miss everything right up to college. After that its all downhill, chasing jobs, cash, somewhere to live and the bills. One very bright spot was meeting my partner and soul mate xxx |
