I love to go places too but liking one place would vary if you are to settle there for good.

I have lived in a different country because of school and work...but it would never make me leave the Philippines for good. This is where I am from, and this is the place that is always in my heart. =D

Everyone always chooses PI, but, the problem is that they choose PI and then stand in line at the US embassy for Citizenship.

The question is quite similar to, which one do you like better, rice or french fries? Of course, i'd love to have french fries once in a while, but nothing's as fulfilling as a cup of rice on each meal.

I perfer the Philippines. I am a retired American living in Iloilo since 2002. Why ?:

My retirement pay goes allot further.
People here are allot more friendly.
I enjoy being part od a large family.
Love living on a tropical island with many nice beach and inland resorts.
Good local food.
No need to rush or keep a time schedule. I like "Filippino time".

I am from the USA, so naturally I am used to living there. I do spend many months in the Philippines, and enjoy my time there also.
But to answer the question, I prefer the USA.

both, but there are many regions of the US. hot, warm, cool, very cold regions. many cultures too. north, south or yankee and dixie. city or country folks. US are full of immigrants too, just like pinoys, asian, latinos, africans, europeans, etc.
the philippines is hot and sometimes cool but it's home and we have the best food.
