My former boss is a Filipino and she's such a model of intelligence, kindness, professionalism and wisdom. Also, my best friend in high school, another smart, humorous woman was Filipino.
I've known great Filipinos. |

I think they have tasty food and a really strong bond to family and hard work. I know many Filipinos who can easily speak many languages so that has always made me think of them as intelligent. I like the way tagalog sounds, too. I wish I knew more about Filipino culture and language. |

We are great people. We just look different, sound different when we talk because of our multi language and dialect. Culturally strong. Loyal to those we trust.
Just don't pissed us off. We fight back. |

Filipinos are inherently kind and cordial. They are easy learners and very creative. They can excel if they want to or if givern the opportunity. Hundreds of years of Spanish colonialism made them a bit of slackers but that is hardly now the case in these modern days. MTV Culture, Sexual Revolution, Renaissance Iconoclasts is threatening the Filipino's simple life..but the Filipino kids are still safe. |

Being a Pinay, my opinion is very biased but nonetheless true: when it comes to hospitality, the Filipinos are No. 1.......bar none!!!!!!!!!!! |

Mabuhay, from America,,,kamusta ka?
I have been there enough times to see some bad,,but mostly good. Times are hard there,, the economy is bad,, but a Filipno friend, is a real freind. I intend to retire in the Phils, in about 4 more years,,maybe teach english pronunciation, at college some where. fly kites with the kids,,share my oreos, jelly beans, and fix their bikes. I do love it there,, and I am bad homesick,,perhaps mostly because there is a young girl there, that I love as my own daughter. I will go back,,to stay, until I die, and get cremated. The sunrise at Banin, on one eastermorning, was enough to HAVE to go back. The people are intensely loyal to family and friends,, not like most countries. a small neighborhood, is a family, where children can play naked, without concern, and the whole neighborhood protects them from harm. try that in America!! |

Very kind people. Strong family bonds. As poor as they are, the majority would give you the shirt off their back to help you in your time of need. |

Filipino people have both good and bad traits, I guess it depends on the way you see them... For me the Filipinos are very helpful, they sincerely believed in Kabayanihan, where in they do a favor for those they don't even know without asking for any reward... My family and I have many encounters on these sort of things and we really admire them.. In the negative traits, I guess you have to see for yourself. :-) good day! |

I have been around a variety of filipino's over the years.
Filipino's from the U.S.A and native filipino's from P.I.
Filipino men in the States are very responsible and hard working men.
Filipino men from poor families in the P.I. seem to be very lazy and depending too much on their sisters, mama's,tita's and lola's. Not all but the few that I have observed.
Filipina women do everything they can to keep their very poor family from starving to death.
Poor families become educated because of the sacrifice of the filipina woman. I can only bow my head as an expression of respect for industrious filipina women. |

They're people; some good, some bad. Most of the Filipinos I know are very nice hardworking people. A few are not so good. I find Filipina features to be very attractive and I get disappointed that there aren't any Filipina lesbians around here. |
