No. For me just a normal day for some reasons. First, I have no idea who St Valentine is. Second, nobody seems to have absolute idea who St Valentine is, but there are countless version of the stories. Third, 14 February has no actual significance on my life or my love life. I love my wife everyday. Finally, there are many other days that truly symbolize my love towards my wife and family, ie engagement anniversary, wedding anniversary, my son's birthday etc. |

Commercial holiday with no real meaning. People should show their love for their partner every day, not one calendar day a year.
What does this have to do with the category of Malaysia? There is a Valentine's Day sub-category under Holidays. |

I am all for romance and love. I have experienced love and I am very happilly married. But I do think that valentines day is just there to make money. You should love like it's valentines day every day! |

I only consider it special if you have someone special to share it with. |

It's a very special day for my husband and I, it is our wedding anniversary. |

Before, it's just an ordinary day for me. But now, it seems that this will be my first memorable Valentine for me, having someone special to me. |

No because as innocent and harmless as St. Valentine’s Day may appear, its traditions and customs originate from two of the most sexually perverted pagan festivals of ancient history: Lupercalia and the feast day of Juno Februata. Lupercalia is a celebration of the fertility god. I know that really doesn't mean anything but. If your a christian, our God (Jesus) does not want us using the ways of the wicked |

I would celebrate it if I have someone special. But since I don't have, I usually go out and do something fun... |

Just another day to me.
I neither like flowers nor chocolate...in fact, it seems extravagant to spend so much on these gifts that do nothing to prove one's love at all!
But it's an excuse as good as any to get hubby home early to take us (the whole family) out to dinner! Yum! |

My perception of Valentine day celebration is lifelong commitments and NOT on the so called VALENTINE DAY. |

if you have not been making love with your steady it is a good time to ask for
if you have been married for a long time, it is another day to waste money
if you are single you should target that you'll find a partner before that day
who care who is valentine |

My husband and I do not celebrate Valentine's Day, though our kids celebrate it at school just to fit in. I told my husband that every day should be Valentine's Day. I also say I'd rather get daisies every day than roses once a year. My husband is expected to be romantic throughout the year and not try to overdo it on one Hallmark holiday like most people end up doing.
One thing about not celebrating Valentine's Day is you can get reduced candy the day after with no guilt! And my hubby doesn't have to go running to Walmart at the last minute to pick up cheap flowers, balloons, stuffed animals, or candy like every other guy will be doing Feb 14th! |

I think it's another one of those seriously over commercialized days that exist soley to take your money away, but I still like it because its fun! So I don't mind buying into it a little!
Any woman loves an excuse to be spoiled for a day!!!!! |

To me it's a normal day. I think it's way too commercialized already. Plus, if you really love someone, I believe that you can express those feelings through thoughts and words any day (and every day), not just Feb 14. |
