A diamond earring and ring set for my mom when she turned 75 (diamond). Bought this in Rustan's Silvervault. It cost me an arm and a leg, but she deserves it because she gave me not just those arms and legs, but also my torso, my head, my whole self.

I bought my husband the classic stingray (corvette) and had it fixed up because it was an old stingray.

I took my ex-bf to Vegas for a week for his birthday. I got him small gifts like a poker set (99 cents on eBay) and other little "hints" to unwrap, and then we were on a plane to Vegas.

We stayed in a nice hotel, gambled, drank, ate lots of great food, went to the Penn & Teller show, and had a fantastic time.

I just bought him & I an airfare ticket + hotel accomodation to Europe for our first wedding anniversary.

I bet it will blow his mind when I will hand the ticket to him.

Our sympathies, Gems. That was a beautiful gift you gave your Dad.

For me, it was what my folks called "The Batmobile". An old Toyota car. That was a wonderful car I gave my folks. So fast we could outrun every bus and car on the highway. Then the tyre broke, and everybody else that we overtook paid us back.

during my sister`s 39th bday i gave her a house and lot. but i think its not that expensive still.. she`s single and have cancer... the most expensive gift i gave i think is my unconditonal love to my beloved sis & the most expensive gift i wish is for her, to have a normal healthy life.
