Usually I assume it is because they are insecure, sometimes, they are just uber creative and like to experiment though.
Either way a ton of makeup doesn't look good on anyone.

back to the question, how much is too much? I think that if make up is applied accordingly, it would definitely make a person look attractive. But too much is no good. Less is always better. No make up at all is worst.

I think it's sad they cover up their natural beauty with make-up at all! A little make-up is ok but when you put too much on you look like you are VERY ready for Halloween!

in most cases it doesn't look nice but actresses and models have a lot of make up on but they look great (of course they have professional artists...) but normal women? it looks hideous and you just want to re do their make up for them...

They shouldn't over do it. A little bit goes a long way. The girls that wear too much make up are trying too hard. It says, hey look at me, I'm an idiot.

people who wear too much makeup are not attractive. i can understand a little to enhance. too much can look tacky though.

It depends on the women. Some look really good, some look like drag queens and some look like they are trying to hide behind a mask. It all depends on the person, the place and the occasion. I work with one girl that cakes her make up on for the office...I'd hate to see what she looks like when she goes out.

I like the natural look. I think women who wear too much look like clowns and some women it doesn't help them. I think wear it if you don't over do it.

OH I could soooo go on and on...LOL...It makes women LOOK WAAAY the flock OLDER than they are for sure ONCE ya wash the stuff off. the wrinkles and flaps are disssgusting! I know of a person whom i befriended and she stole from me tons of irreplacables..but anyways....she always wore tons of face stuff..to look pretty... she married this guy who Totally THOUGHT she was a real native american till he saw OTHER parts of herLOL... but the makeup off made her look 60 years old... she and I are the same age..Im 51 and am told I look about /at least 45...I Never messed with that stuff.

really gross...like they r trying out new looks for a clown face or something! prostitutes do this a lot and when I see someone with it caked on 2 inches deep I always wonder just how much they charge???? LOL
