I would listen to what they have to say. And if you feel you want out, just be courteous and say "no" - as simple as that.
However, I do believe that what they have to say is important. |

Part of being a Mormon is "going forth" to witness to others.. I treat Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses with the same courtesy I would anyone else. Have you ever read any of the Book of Mormon......? You might have some pleasant conversations with the next Mormon you meet if you do. Not arguments... conversations...even if you have differing ideas. I'm not Mormon but I respect their right to believe as they do . At most you would be giving of yourself for what...maybe 10 mins. every couple years??? I enjoy learning about different religions/ different cultures. I'm enriched with each tidbit of information I absorb whether or not I incorporate the idea/information into my daily life. |

I ask them to read to me the last three verses of the bible, One of them describes the curses that will be rained down on anyone who adds or takes away from the bible. They ususally go away as they don't want to discuss that verse. |

First of all, if they are mormons from the US, you can give them the finger, and tell them to leave the country. For other, you can be nice to them and just say no. |
