Its a beautiful country with alot of scenic views. The people are friendly even though there are signs of poverty which can be commonly notice

Well, alot of people, especially foreigners and those *coughfilipinosdenyingtheirnationalityju... get thrown off by the garbage, bad politics, crime rates, and every other negative thing they can come up with but they really miss the real charm of the Philippines... it's people! Of course I am biased because the Philippines is my home. The Filipinos are the friendliest, funniest, nicest, and most laid back people you can meet -- ever! Very hospitable people and polite too - they know better when someone is saying bad things about them - they still treat them well. Compared to other nations who still hold grudges to neighboring countries because of what they did to them decades or centuries ago, the Filipinos much prefers to go on with their lives - considering the fact that the Spanish almost entirely wiped out the indigenous Filipinos, the culture, and the native looks as well (real native filipinos looks either the Negritos - like black peeps, only shorter or the Malays - self explanatory). The Japanese also took over and did horrible things at us. America also made the Philippines one of their territories. But instead of brewing over it or being prejudiced against these nations, we still welcome them wholeheartedly. We love karaoke and eating balut with our friends. The tambays, most of them are nice, add to the charm of small villages. Of course, as per any other country, you just have to watch out from the occasional bad apple. So yeah, the Philippines is great place... the people are great!

there are lots and lots of nice white sandy beaches. The Filipinos are very friendly. Manila is a nice place to go when you're in the Phil. If you're into exotic dishes, then you SHOULD go to the phil. Sad thing is, it is the 2nd most corrupt country in asia.. Tourism is very helpful in the country's economy.

im Australian and visited there a few times now.... to visit my gf......its a place of friendly people, san mig beer(joke), and rich culture.

Theres some sad things....like women needing to work as gro/bar girl.......but the economy does that..........

It is a very dirty place with lots of crime. The people here are the most rude and inconsiderate people that I have encountered anywhere in the world.
There is garbage and pollution everywhere. I am trying to sleep now in Davao, Philippines and the neighbors are drunk and singing Karaoke. That is what they do instead of work.
There is nothing friendly or kind hearted about Filipinos. That is a lie and a myth.
