I've always wanted to be a teacher...and someday soon, after I've earned my PhD, I'd like to be a college professor at a prestigious university (preferably, the University of the Philippines, Dept. of Psychology).

When I was in grade school, I was so sure I would be a nun. In high school, the desire was still there but not quite as strong anymore. Then during my sophomore year in college, the strong desire resurfaced so I entered the convent. I lasted 5 mos. 8 days. I got out late November and last January I was transplanted to the US (moved in with my cousin, Inday here in Houston). In September, I will resume my studies (incoming junior at Rice U majoring in Psychology).

i wanted to be a doctor first. then i learned that i don't have that much compassion in caring for others so i wanted to be a lawyer next. apparently, circumstances led me to my current vocation as an HR professional. =)

I also wanted to be a doctor too i a! But like you I also can't stand wounds and blood. Well, I guess that's the reason why I became an artist instead. lol.

I also dreamt of becoming a carpenter, baker, labandera, and plantsadora. I was inspired by the people around me whom I became friends with when I was a kid.

When I was in pre-school and in elementary, I wanted to be a doctor, a surgeon particularly. In high school, I wanted to be a journalist, possibly a broadcast journalist. Then, I took up psychology thinking that I could probably go into law after college.

Now, I'm neither of these because I realized that we couldn't afford med school; and I eventually lost interest in journalism and law school.
