It's my homeland, even though I've lived most of my life outside of it. There's a connection and bond I have with the country and the people that is always there. Going back is like rediscovering a long-lost part of myself. I will always love it even for all its faults, because there's something special about the culture that you just can't find anywhere else. |

Well, going by the thumbs down for many of the answers, it seems to me it is a greatly misunderstood country. Unless you have been there or taken time to see/ read about/ research the complexity of the country, you will react like most people have to this question, a knee jerk rection to the VERY little you know about China. Some of the answers are plain stupid, others are scary in their xenophobia based purely on their knowledge of China in the past.....look to the present and future and you will see that China is not ALL bad and not ALL good (like every other country in the world) DOn't look at the Communism and then condemn them altogether ......that is NOT all there is to China! |
