adobong manok with a steaming white rice fragranced by pandan, eaten with my left leg raised on the chair while i make chi-chika with my momma.... why do you have to do this to me inday? i'm hungry and i just had my dinner. why does my adobo doesn't taste as good as my mom makes in the philippines? what's wrong with the chicken here? could i be using the wrong brand of toyo? or do my taste buds appreciate the taste of sukang paombong more than the sossy vinegar i have in my pantry? i miss home.

woah!
lunch time?
i prefer lutong bahay
coz i cook and i know what is my taste
so i adjust what i am cooking based on my
preferences,
some of my fave food is,
uhmmmm

sisig+sinangag
sinigang
adobo
beef steak (tagalog)
tinapa (my all time favorite)

weeeeeee i am starving,
i love cooking and eating,
i have my own dish that i had invented
and i love it because it is spicy,

carinderia sa kanto (non-fancy food), we sometimes need germs in our body, perhaps not all people have time to cook for lunch since some are having their works.

nilagang baka, caldereta, monggo, barbecue, pansit, chopseuy, gosh! im really hungry!

vibal
my wife's a good cook. and i love that sinigang na bangus with adobong kangkong for lunch.

"tanghalian" or lunch time or "panyaga" in Ilonggo reminds me when I was still staying with my mom and dad.

My dad likes to cook a fresh fish from the market and make a soup with only tomato and onion. Its called "sinabawan", I eat it with rice and banana as a dessert. The soup really taste good especially when it is still hot and if the fish is super-fresh you can see the nutritious yellow-fish oil on your plate.

Rainy season "tanghalian" reminds me of mongo beans with coconut milk, dried fish or dilis, "malunggay" leaves.

lutong-bahay (home-cooked) kc msarap magluto nanay q eh...

Tanghali-an is more home cooked dishes like adobo, sinigang, pinakbet or just a plain adobong kangkong or talong. Its nice you serve simple filipino dishes than the fancy or fusion ones. And it all really depends on your guests. serve it in your house at around luch time.
