even it just make bad situation but we can't look from negative position. Malaysia and Singapore is like sibling. we need each other. if singapore join us, malaysia will be more successful and strong. but it's also good for singapore cuz we can give more space and place to inhabitant live. i know singapore didn't have enough land to patch up the inhabitants. as neighbour country, we must be help them but just..if them ask we. but i don't think so..anderson, please don't say that. i hope singapore can join us. more benefit will come if singapore join us. |

Singapore will not voluntarily re-join in the Federation of Malaysia. That is beyond doubt. If they did, then they would already be in a crappy situation, which would be of no benefit for Malaysia.
I admire its state of cleanliness and governance, but despise the kiasu-ness and arrogance that I encounter with most my Singaporean friends. And on the interest f the countries, I do not welcome it back, it's a win-win situation that we are separate. Occasionally Malaysia NEEDS a small and powerful country like Singapore to poke some needles into our stupid heads. Singapore on the other hand needs a toothless tiger like us to pretend it's roaring, that makes Singapore a competitive country in the world.
Plus, while Singapore wouldn't want us back by ditching us decades ago, Malaysia shouldnt take back those who forsake us. One thing which I relate very much to this is Malaysia's decision to deny its citizens (mostly Chinese) who ran away from the country when called to undertake National Service during and after the War period (not this recent three month thing). |

wah...so nice ah if that can ever happen..i dun think lar..maybe if malaysia welcome but singapore will not..maybe like loooong time ago.......the malays n chinese start conflict...killing again maybe.. but if that happen malaysia will be a very big n 'canggih' n well-known country......well that's good but that'll never happen!! ppl won't get along well.......dunno la.. |

Malaysians as a whole might welcome the idea but wouldn't say the same for the Singaporians.Afterall,Mr.Lee said what he has said,he was just making a joke of the Malaysian government.Too bad our leaders couldn't take the hint. |

It would benifit both countries immensly. S'pore is saturated now - has reached its peak in economic growth - no more avenues to invest within the country - it is a concrete jungle now - not much of greenery around & most S'poreans have to drive out to M'sia for a breath of fresh air. And S'poreans have started to Invest in Johor's ISKANDAR Region.
Yes, Mentor MM Lee was right. Singapore will have to seriously think in terms of joining back with Malaysia.
If they do, then malaysia will gain the expertise of the S'pore leaders in Administration.& management. They can pass on their invaluable experience of running a Country right, to Malaysia.
I would b the happiest person in the world if they do. |
