When it comes to invention, Philippines introduced the ever entertaining "karaoke". It is a Filipino invention but well, Japan had it patented first so it is considered theirs.

In the world of entertainment, we have the world renowned singer Lea Salonga who wowed worldwide audience with her musical performances at Carnegie Hall. Well there are also Fil-Ams in Hollywood but no one is as great as Lea in my opinion.

But what I think of Philippine's greatest contribution to the world is its millions of OFWs rendering quality service to people of different nations.

Beside all the the Nursing and Health care all around the world. Lately I have been noticing more and more talented Filipinos on TV. Ellen Degneres is exposing more and more talent from the Phillipines. You have this Vocalist with Journey, American Idol Contestant, Hells Kitchen contstant Louross, Comedians Rex Navarette,Edwin San Juan, Ron Josol and Bernadette. Also, Hollywood is full of Filipnio make-up artists and one of them is Mally Rancal and her clients are Celine Dione, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and Mariah Carey.
Also Hotels now have a number of Filipino executive Chef and I don't know how many of you out there know that the Executive Chef at the white house (Private Chef for Laura and George Bush) by the name Cristeta Comerford is a Filipina.
Too many talented Filipnos around and you should be proud of that.
You might be surprised at the talented people from the Philippines.

I agree with the 2 comments.........but actually here is my answer to your question they didnt fight with any states any more they've given peace that they'll promise to never fight......................Of course after a few years the Philipine's hero died that hero sacrified him self...........so after a few years 4 years maybe.......it came peaceful.................but they are still fighting......the Mindanao's and nothing else...................they promised there hope to the other states.................i have something that i am afraid of.............but i mentioned if i am not brave im not apart from the Pilipino world....................so my answer is....................................is... yes peace!i know it may be useless but peace!!!!!!!!!
